I love a good prank just as much as the next guy but, I really hate when a good prank is pulled on me… as I’m sure we all do.
Unfortunately for these folks in Brazil, who think they’re headed to whatever appointment it was they made for the day and are just getting onto just any old elevator. Boy, were they wrong!

Talk about a prank! This is likely one of the most extreme gags of all time.
This stunt was done for a Brazilian variety show, Programa Silvio Santos. The shtick involves unwitting elevator passengers who are riding along when the lights start to flicker. What happens next is something that these people will never forget and may have nightmares about for a long time.
pparently the shenanigans are based on the horror film ‘The Ring’. The little girl is enough to send someone over the edge and many are up in arms as this over the top escapade may be just a little too over the top. Complaints are coming in as some were concerned that exposing the right person could trigger a heart attack. I don’t know about that, but the people exposed to the prank were certainly terrified out of their minds.
I have to say, it is one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen as I could feel the fear enveloping the unsuspecting passengers.

Well, now that Movember is coming to a close… wait, you don’t know what “Movember” is?! It’s a lot more then men not shaving their face in the month of November as some might have you believe.
Movember as defined by Wikipedia:
“Movember (a portmanteau word from moustache and “November“) is an annual, month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of prostate cancer and other male cancer and associated charities. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, housed at Movember.com.[1] The goal of Movember is to “change the face of men’s health.”[2]
By encouraging men (“Mo Bros“) to get involved, Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths. Besides getting an annual check-up, the Movember Foundation encourages men to be aware of any family history of cancer, and to adopt a more healthful lifestyle.[3]
Since 2004, the Movember Foundationcharity has run Movember events to raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer and depression, in Australia and New Zealand. In 2007, events were launched in Ireland, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Spain, the United Kingdom, Israel, South Africa, Taiwan and the United States.[4][5]
It has spread from Australia to South Africa, Europe and North America.[6][7] As of 2011 Canadians were the largest contributors to the Movember charities of any nation.[8][9] In 2010, Movember merged with the testicular cancer event Tacheback.[10]

Well, apparently, men aren’t the only ones who can participate, one woman has taken it upon her self to take her hormone imbalance and put it to good use!

Each November, thousands of male grow mustaches to bring awareness to men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer and testicular cancer, in a campaign known as “Movember.” This year, a British woman with a pre-diagnosed medical condition grew a beard in support of the cause.
Siobhain Fletcher, a 36-year-old from Leek, Staffordshire, was diagnosed withpolycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) when she was just a teenager. PCOS is a condition in which a woman has an imbalance of female sex hormones, according to the U.S. National Library of Medicine. PCOS can cause women to develop male-like characteristics, including abnormal hair growth on the face, stomach or chest.
“When I started getting my periods, they never became regular – I thought that was a bonus!” Fletcher told ABC News. “I started getting a few hairs, around 15 or 16. Every woman gets facial hair. I thought that was just part of puberty. I cut with scissors, or shaved them off.” She identified the issue when she was in her 20s and attempted to remove the hair by shaving, waxing and using chemical creams.
“My condition used to contribute to depression and anxiety but this is for a good cause and I want to highlight that people shouldn’t judge you on what you have on your face, it’s what is inside that matters,” Fletcher told the Mirror on Nov. 10.
In early November, Fletcher’s friend told her that he was growing a mustache in support of Movember, and she was inspired.
“I pointed out that he had a bit of face fuzz, and asked about it. He told me about ‘Movember,’ and in a spur of the moment decision, I decided to grow mine,” she told ABC News.
“Now it’s actually saying to the world, look, this isn’t a sideshow, I’m doing this to raise awareness for men’s cancer to stop families possibly losing a family member and also to help people with self-esteem issues to say, ‘It doesn’t matter,'” Fletcher said about growing a beard for Movember on “This Morning.” Adding, “People will still look as beautiful with facial hair as without it.”
Fletcher has raised £1,040 (about $1,663) on her Movember page as of Wednesday afternoon. On her page, she cites her motivation as: “To use my PCOS as a tool for raising awareness for Men’s cancers. If I get just one man to get checked out it will be worth it.”
Cliff Barackman of Animal Planet's "Finding Bigfoot"
Since the release of the DNA results by Dr. Ketchum and her team of their study of the Russian “Bigfoot” hair, we’ve been scouring websites for any type of update or new information. Not much else has happened just yet but the great guys at Cryptomundo.com have a bit to say and have found a recent interview of Finding Bigfoot’s lead researcher, Cliff Barackman, where he was asked about and weighs in on the research.

Well, here is some awesome footage that has only deepened the world’s curiosity for Bigfoot, especially on the heels of the fantastic and absolutley amazing information contained in our last post.

Okay, this is like offering Jello as desert after a seven course gourmet meal coming right on the heels of the Dr. Ketchum report, still some of us have to get on with things and keep the lantern burning, even in the face of the sun.
I found this video while looking into another account of a bigfoot caught in a police officers dashboard camera that turn out an admitted hoax by some local teens. Of course going from an admitted hoax to a video this clear sets off some natural mental blocks that say to me that this is probably fake too. Yet the video below possesses some merits discussed in the analysis.
Taken as real this video contains the best footage of a Bigfoot face I have ever seen, but listen to the analysis and then I will have a few comments on some key points.
Okay, you have watched the video now. You have, haven’t you?
I am going to address the main characteristics described in the analysis.
First is the described Large Nocturnal Eyes. I am sorry to say that what the analysis describes as large nocturnal eyes with no whites showing simply appears to me to be deep set eyes beneath a heavy brow where you cannot actually see the eye. Nor do I see an eye that is especially large in proportion to the face.
One of our favorite site, ghosttheroy.com, has posted a pretty interesting story this evening. A member of the UFO SIghtings Daily team has bposted a youtube video of what he thinks is a pretty poor job of an alien space craft attempting to blend in with it’s surroundings of Mt. Adams in Washington state. Take a look at his video here and decided for yourself.

Scott Waring from UFO Sightings Daily has posted to You Tube what his analysis determines to be a cloaked alien UFO base on the slopes of Mt Adams, Washington.
“I had read about and researched the UFO Sightings at the ECETI ranch for many years and finally found a satellite map that would allow me to fully view the top of the ranch. The mass amounts of military officers and DOD people as well as news agencies who record these UFO have been baffled by what they saw. Glowing UFO orbs are seen nightly by visitors and people in the community. The thing that sticks out the most is that they often say, “it was coming from the side of the mountain,” or “it went into the side of the mountain.” This made me search for some kind of distortion in the photos, a glitch in their cloaking that would prove to be an entrance to a base. You see I work with infrared and night vision so I understand that certain light waves are not visible to the human eye, but the digital eye is a different story. Here is a video I made of the results of this search. The entrance is real…now…how do we open it?

Now I have checked FlashEarth myself and the distortion shown here is present there.
However to cite only one source for information is just asking for trouble, as Mr. Waring has done here. Waring has used Flash Earth to image the eastern slopes of Mt Adams, so I decided to check his findings on Google Earth. If indeed aliens are cloaking a hidden base on Adams, and that process causes a distortion of focus then it should be visible from any satellite image. Yes?
For reference I have included the rather distinctive deep valley in the lower half of this picture, and the ridge in the upper half, both visible in Waring’s image
And then zoomed between to the location of Waring’s “Base” and find no distortion.
Now I will be the first to admit my images are not taken at the same time of year as Waring’s. So we are left with a few options:
There was a hidden alien aircraft base within Mt Adams at the time of Waring’s photo but it was either not built yet or removed when my photos were taken.
As one of Waring’s commentors suggests, what was cloaked was a mothership not a base, and it departed or had not arrived yet between the time of Waring’s photo and mine.
Waring’s photo is a by product of a camera or processing flaw, or an atmospheric anomaly at the time of the picture.
Or one of the photos is simply faked by some human hand.
There do not seem to be a lot of other options. But there does arise a question.
Why would an advanced alien race, with the capacity to cloak a base or mothership proceed to launch brightly glowing objects that clearly identify its location?

A mysterious creature has been stalking villagers near a small Indonesian village called Kampung Paon Gahat. After a couple of attacks on locals and a foreigner, the creature came upon a farmer with a sickle in hand and decided to attack. The farmer prevailed and even took some pictures! SERIAN: An Indonesian plantation worker and a 75-year-old farmer got the shock of their lives when they were attacked by an unknown animal species in two separate occasions earlier this month.
The farmer, Aris Kuna of Kampung Paon Gahat, was attacked by the rare animal while attending to his pepper garden about noon. The foreigner, however, was attacked a week later at a plantation near Kpg Baing while gathering oil palm fresh fruit bunches around 9am.
The animal that attacked the duo was described as having a ‘bear and wild boar’ resemblance. Fellow workers and villagers who saw the carcass, brought by the Indonesian, could not identify the animal species.
“It’s a rare species. None of the villagers could identify it when we saw the body and pictures of it. Some even took to the Internet to find out but to no avail. Could it be one of those already considered extinct?
“In all my life venturing into the jungle, hunting and such, I’ve never come across this species,” 62-year-old Louis Nyaoi said when met at his house in Kpg Mentung Marau, some 50km from here yesterday.
His son Jimmy Tubo, 27, believed that the rare animal could have reappeared due to the opening of the nearby jungle for agriculture and other developments.
When relating the ordeal of the foreign worker, Jimmy said the Indonesian had claimed that the animal gave a strange noise, firstly sounding like a hen followed by a wild boar sound, before proceeding to attack.
The victim alleged that the animal stood up on its hind legs when charging at him. He immediately swung his sickle, killing the animal instantly.
Jimmy, who works with the Sarawak Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation Authority (Salcra) added that the animal which attacked the Indonesian measured two feet long.
The animal also spotted a long mane and sharp wolverine-like claws. Another mysterious attribute to the animal was that it gave out foul smell only hours after it was killed.
Another local expert jungle trekker and hunter Paul Hnrnp, 41, said he never smelled anything like the stench. He also said that one could smell the stench from some 10 metres away when the Indonesian brought the carcass to the plantation’s FFB pick up ram for observation by fellow workers and villagers.
On Aris’ encounter, Paul, a security guard at SK St John, Kpg Mentung Murau said his grandparents were resting at a hut after tending to their pepper crops at the time.
“My grandfather (Aris) heard an unfamiliar animal outside the hut, so he went out to check. At first, he could not see where the animal was coming from although he anticipated that danger was lurking.
“Sensing that the animal was near, he said a prayer before starting to swing his machete numerous times to fend off as what he described as an ‘invisible’ attack. Only after he felt he had slashed something that he saw a limb of the animal’s leg on the ground. Moments later, he saw the lifeless animal.”
Aris immediately dispersed the body at the jungle. As for the one that attacked the Indonesian worker, the body was partly buried at the plantation.
Not ruling out the fact that the animal could have been an endangered species, Louis believed the actions of both men as self-defense.

Judges and scientists working on the Quest channel’s show, Superhuman Showdown, unanimously voted the 32-year-old musician the fastest superhuman on earth, after he beat off stiff competition from a speed shooter and a base jumper.
Ben and his fellow competitors were tested in a controlled environment and researchers used magnetic electrical pulses to measure the contestants’ brain activity during their tasks.
Among those vying for the title were the world base race champion Frode Johannessen, who can ‘fly’ unassisted at 170pm and speed shooter Jerry Miculek who can fire eight rounds on four targets in 1.06 seconds.
Head spinner Aicho Ono, who can perform 135 head spins in one minute, and speed eater Pete Czerwinski, who is able to eat a 12 inch pizza in 34 seconds, also tried their best to win the coveted title.
Ben was thrilled to have been declared the winner: “It’s taken tens of thousands of hours of practice to reach this speed but it definitely helped that my parents were musical and encouraged me to play.”
He has played the violin since the age of five, and at 16 he was awarded Daily Telegraph Young Jazz Composer Of The Year. He has now insured his fingers for £3 million.

Well GTers, it looks as though this is the day of the UFO. As much as I wanted to bring you something interesting from other sources, UFO’s seem to be the hot topic of discussion. Especially with the following story out of Denver.
This is a video I’ve seen yesterday, but I allowed it to simmer for 24 hours to see where it would go and it seems the word is “viral”.

This footage has made the rounds from Facebook to Twitter and was discussed on Coast To Coast last night.
Many are calling it nothing more than insects close to the camera, but others including “Steve Cowell” in the above quoted story aren’t convinced. In fact Cowell says point blank: “the objects are not insects.”
Tell me, how is it that an he could be so certain? Sure, he may be an aviation expert, but he’s not in any video production related business. Yet he seems to know everything that these objects are not. Could it be that Steve is merely saying what he thinks people want to hear? Nothing against him personally, but we wouldn’t be doing our job if we didn’t question these things.
I have to admit, my first, second and third inclination was insects. I’m having a hard time seeing it as anything else. Could I be mistaken? Of course.
The only thing I can do is offer it up for debate.

A man named Tim Fasano has released footage of what he says is the best video evidence of Florida’s legendary Skunk Ape. Apparently though, this man has quite a reputation in the crypto-community already. Interesting…

If you are unaware of who Tim Fasano is, let me fill you in. Tim is a controversial figure in the world of Bigfoot. However Tim is more interested in the cousin of Sasquatch, namely the Florida Skunk Ape.
Tim has been roaming the Florida everglades for many years in search of this elusive biped, which he is convinced exists.
He has several websites and he puts out videos with the best of them. You have to hand it to him, as he takes video footage at least once a month. If anyone deserves to find a Skunk Ape, it’s Tim.
Unless you’ve been too busy with the big election, you’d know by now that Spike TV is offering 10 million dollars to whoever gets irrefutable evidence of Bigfoot. That’s a lot of samolians!
This challenge apparently is no challenge to Tim as he believes he might already have the evidence. The video below is taken from a recent outing of Tim’s in the glades. I’ve lived in South Florida, so I’m allowed to use the abbreviation, “glades”, plus it sounds cooler! No? Ehh, what do you know?
Getting back to the video, Tim claims to have caught the Skunk Ape rising up behind some saw palmetto…
Here’s some commentary from Tim himself:
“I was about 300 yards from camp when I saw movement and took this video. At 4:09 you will see something peek up over the palmettos. When I pan back its in the open and tries to hide. I zoom so you can see. It was far away. I saw movement but did not know I had this capture until later. More vids of the expedition are at http://floridabigfoot.org”
I’m not so sure I see a Skunk Ape here, but you have to give Tim props, at least he’s out there looking and who knows, he may one day prove the subject of his quest. For now, I think the $10,000,000.00 is safe, but I wish Tim all the luck in the world.
I can’t say that Tim and I have been on the best of terms, but we have gotten along. I’ve covered a couple news items related to him and I do check in with his sites and videos from time to time. After all, if nothing else, he is entertaining.
